Sight Word Searches
Help your students recognize sight words in the Pre-Primer, Primer, and First Grade Dolch Lists with these fun Sight Word Searches. Students look for the given sight word numerous times in the same search according to the quantity indicated on the page. Each set gradually increases in difficulty. The Pre-Primer set shows only 12 words per search in a big, clear font with a variety of letters. The Primer set still only contains 12 words, but more discernment is required because all of the words look similar to one another. The Primer set displays 19 visually similar words in each search box with a smaller text. All Sight Word Searches are currently on SALE!

DeleteCan you explain why you have 23/30 and 24/31 in your calendar packs?

ReplyDeleteDepending on how the days fall in a month, sometimes there aren't enough squares on the calendar to accommodate all numbers up to 30 or 31. A good example of this happening is in December 2012. There are so many empty calendar spaces during the first week, 30 and 31 may not fit on the traditional calendar with 5 rows of boxes. This way, 30 and 31 can still fit on the calendar - they just share a space with 23 and 24. Hope this helps!
